Automation Engineer Opportunity

Our client, a reputable engineering firm based in County Armagh, is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement automation systems to improve production efficiency and performance.
  • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into existing processes.
  • Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and modifications to automation systems to ensure smooth operation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and control systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and automation solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
