About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine to join our Elderly Care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist care to older adults living with frailty, working closely with consultant colleagues and the Acute Frailty Team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong passion for geriatric medicine, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

As a senior member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our Frailty Service and support the continuing growth and improvement of our Elderly Care department.

Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a Certificate of Completion of Training or CESR
  • Experience in geriatric medicine, with a particular emphasis on frailty and comprehensive geriatric assessment
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
