Job Summary:

This part-time Bookkeeper/Administrator role requires a professional with experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the property or real estate industry. You will be responsible for managing the financial administration of a property portfolio, including managing accounts, processing financial transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of records.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property accounting principles, including service charges, rental income, and tax implications. You will be responsible for managing and recording financial transactions related to property rentals, purchases, and sales.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally within the property or real estate industry
  • Strong understanding of property accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial accounts simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with tenants, landlords, and service providers
