Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, and system functional tests on aircraft systems.
  • Work with peers to ensure safe handling, maintenance, modification, and flight testing of aircraft.
  • Ensure adherence to established processes, accurate and timely work recording, and contractual/regulatory compliance.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify systems by conducting changes, removals, replacements, or upgrades of aerospace vehicle components.
  • Conduct assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of aircraft systems.
  • Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and associated electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Validate and verify testing of systems and components.
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide mentoring to peers and others.

Requirements:

  • Recognized and certified aircraft apprenticeship or military equivalent.
  • Experience in maintenance, modification, and repair of aircraft and components, and/or aircraft wire harness manufacture and installation.
  • Understanding of MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), MAA Regulatory Publication (MRP) Part 145, aviation Quality Assurance (QA), and Safety Management System (SMS).
