About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our multidisciplinary care team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care under the guidance of the MultiDisciplinary Team (MDT) and in accordance with patient care plans.
  • Monitor and report on patient needs, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Supervise junior staff and engage in ward audits to maintain KMPT and national ward standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the MDT to deliver patient-centered care and support the development of junior staff.
Requirements
  • Experience in healthcare, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of adult inpatient care and ability to role model and supervise junior staff.
