Job Opportunity: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our team at KJC Architects Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality architectural services on a range of residential and mixed-use projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in stages 1-4, with proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite. MicroStation experience is desirable but not essential. You will be expected to work on a series of small to medium-scale projects, running between 3-5 projects at any one time, with varying scales from £200k to £5M.

We are looking for an individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, a friendly personality, and a team player attitude. You will be responsible for creating presentations, assisting with day-to-day tasks, and working closely with our team to deliver exceptional results.

The role is full-time and office-based, with a competitive salary range of £25,000 to £35,000 per year, depending on your CV and portfolio. If you are a motivated and talented individual looking to take your career to the next level, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality architectural services on residential and mixed-use projects
  • Work on a series of small to medium-scale projects, running between 3-5 projects at any one time
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks and work closely with the team to deliver exceptional results
  • Develop and maintain a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in stages 1-4
  • Stay up-to-date with UK Building Regulations and Planning Applications

Requirements:

  • Experience in stages 1-4 demonstrated in portfolio
  • SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
  • MicroStation experience desirable but not essential
  • Relevant UK-based sector experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly personality and team player attitude
