Governance Director

We are seeking a skilled Governance Director to join our Retail Proposition team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing Product Development and Product Governance Processes, ensuring that Governance activities are initiated at the required times. You will also provide expertise and support to the Retail Business on Product Governance and Consumer Duty, working closely with the Head of Governance & Technical and other internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and review Product Development and Product Governance Processes
- Provide expertise and support to the Retail Business on Product Governance and Consumer Duty
- Work with the Head of Governance and Technical and other internal stakeholders to complete annual Fair Value Assessments and Product Reviews
- Support the Head of Governance & Technical and Product Leads to ensure products and processes are launched, governed, and closed in line with our Product Governance and Product Development procedures
- Gather, analyze, and monitor MI data and identify trends for Retail products, in line with Product Governance requirements and Consumer Duty
- Gather, analyze, and summarize data for internal reporting to forums and committees
- Provide required reporting to internal committees within specified timescales and follow up on any actions after
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Retail and act as a champion for Governance processes
- Support the Head of Governance & Technical in the evolution of our Governance framework with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience in financial services
- Experience of implementing/embedding Consumer Duty or other Governance activities
- Excellent data analysis with the ability to concisely articulate trends
- Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
