Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Prestige Recruitment Specialists. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of HGV vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of our fleet to ensure they are in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  2. Container Management: Inspect and assess all containers, both incoming and outgoing, to ensure they are in good condition and meet our quality standards.
  3. Loading and Unloading: Load and unload container units, ensuring they are securely fastened and ready for transport.
  4. Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate records of container movements, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  5. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by delivering containers to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.

Requirements:

  1. Full Driving Licence: Hold a valid full driving licence.
  2. Forklift Truck Licence: Possess a valid forklift truck licence.
  3. Container Handling Experience: Have experience handling and maintaining containers.
  4. Self-Motivation and Communication Skills: Be self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
  5. Teamwork and Adaptability: Be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Work Hours and Benefits:

40 hours per week, permanent contract. 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (no weekend working). Benefits include bonus, holidays, life assurance, private health insurance, and cycle to work scheme.
