Job Title: HGV Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Scania. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles
  • Diagnose and rectify faults using technical knowledge and diagnostic equipment
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification or proven technical experience in HGV maintenance and repair
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances

Preferred Requirements:

  • LGV/HGV/PCV licence an advantage
  • Bus and coach experience an advantage
  • IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential
