We are currently working with a national operation to secure qualified HGV Technicians for their workshop in the Glasgow area. The company has a fleet of over 150,000 vehicles and has been in existence for over 35 years. They pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service and offer a wide range of maintenance solutions for various makes and models up to 44 tonnes.

The Role:
  • 45 hours per week, with a mix of earlies and lates shifts
  • Hourly rate starting from £18 per hour
  • Tractor and Trailer unit service, repair, and maintenance, with a focus on tractor unit work
  • Overtime available, with additional standby and call-out fees

We are looking for qualified and time-served HGV Technicians who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle mechanical dynamics. You will be working in a positive and vibrant environment where your efforts will be rewarded. The company is willing to upskill staff to address skills shortages.

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections and maintenance work on a varied and diverse range of commercial vehicles.
