About the Role

NHS Professionals Limited is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Older People Community Mental Health Team in Surrey Heath. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality occupational therapy assessment and interventions to individuals and their carers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the generic functioning of the team and advocate for occupational therapy within the Trust.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of occupational therapy interventions and provide supervision and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Provide occupational therapy student placements and contribute to service development and audits.
  • Take on the role of lead professional as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Relevant post-qualification clinical experience and a degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience of using multiple occupational frames of reference and approaches, as well as relevant occupational therapy assessment and intervention skills.
  • UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes.
