Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Operative + Forklift to join our team at Wrightbus. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and issue materials and parts to production areas in accordance with customer specifications and Wrightbus quality standards.
  • Operate forklifts and other plant equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct cycle counting and inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Kit and pack goods using appropriate materials and ensure timely delivery to production areas.
  • Participate in stocktakes and continuous improvement teams to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures, and report any incidents or near misses.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in materials handling and control in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Current Fork Truck License.
  • Experience in using scanners and ERP systems (such as Sage).
  • Good knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Ability to work additional hours when requested by management.
