Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship Opportunity

In this comprehensive apprenticeship, you will embark on a 42-month journey to become a skilled Electrical Technician. You will delve into the science behind sugar production, learning about electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as highly automated programmable control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gain a solid understanding of maintenance and operational practices, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop expertise in routine maintenance, fault finding, and diagnosis, testing, and commissioning.
  • Learn to inspect and maintain plant equipment, assessing and testing its performance and condition.
  • Acquire knowledge and understanding of engineering theories and principles.
  • Understand systems and procedures to work safely and efficiently.
  • Develop behavioral skills to be a great team member.
Requirements:
  • Be aged 16 and over.
  • Be living and eligible to work in the UK.
  • Have achieved or predicted a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Level 4/C, including Maths, English, and a Science.
  • Be able to travel to attend college one day a week.
