Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead our IT function in Ipswich. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical expertise to drive strategic plans and manage a team of 8.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in IT disciplines at SLT level or above, with a strong understanding of technology functions including ERP, CRM, applications, networking, security, development, and support.

  • Manage the entire technology function, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategic plans and roadmaps with the senior management team to drive business growth and success.
  • Lead a team of 8 and manage third-party suppliers and agreements to ensure efficient operations.
  • Manage crisis and focus on security issues, threats, and cyber risks to protect the company's assets.
  • Plan new technology to ensure best tools and systems are implemented, driving business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT disciplines at SLT level or above.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
  • Able to see the bigger picture and focus on commercial outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills to drive business growth.
