Operative Theatre Assistant

As part of our expansion, we are looking for experienced Scrub Practitioners to join our team. You will have experience within at least one of the following specialities: orthopaedics, ENT, ophthalmics, spinal or general surgery.
We offer funded courses and award-winning CPD to ensure you reach your full potential. Limited weekends and no nights means you regain your work/life balance.
You can expect to assist patients undergoing a range of elective procedures. Our friendly and supportive team provides excellent patient care and carries out scrub duties to a varied caseload of patients.
- Providing complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- Developing own knowledge and skills and that of others.
- Promoting best practice in health and safety and security.
- Assisting in maintaining and developing services.
- Contributing to quality improvement.
- Promoting people's equality, diversity and rights
You will be NMC or HCPC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
At least 1 year's scrub experience in any of the following specialities: orthopaedics, ENT, ophthalmics, spinal or general surgery.
