We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Operations Assistant to join our team at Kensington Mortgage Company. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mortgage administration processes.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our Lending Operations Team, ensuring that all mortgage applications are managed efficiently and professionally.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including intermediaries, solicitors, and applicants, to ensure that all expectations are managed and met.
- Customer Service: Provide a seamless quality service to all parties, adhering to our service standards as set out in the Policy & Procedures Manual.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Mortgage Intermediaries, looking for new business opportunities and enhancing the process from both a service and quality perspective.
- Compliance: Ensure that all correspondence, including references and valuations, is in line with the application and the appropriate mortgage product, and that all lending criteria/conditions are met.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
- Business Awareness: Have a good understanding of the mortgage industry and the products offered by Kensington Mortgage Company.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using relevant systems and technology to perform administrative tasks.
