Senior Procurement Systems Specialist

Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Systems Specialist to join our Strategic Procurement and Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic procurement systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement systems to improve planning and tracking of procurements, support contract management activities, and enhance e-tendering systems.
  • Ensure systems have capacity to capture required procurement and purchasing performance information and report on this.
  • Develop and continually improve dashboards that capture procurement and purchasing performance information from multiple system sources.
  • Develop system controls to aid compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Continually improve the functionality of the e-tendering system to support the strategic procurement process.
  • Develop and enhance Oracle Fusion (or equivalent) system functionality to improve the purchase to pay process.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of P2P and strategic procurement systems functionality.
  • Working knowledge of change management and project management within a context of system development and implementation.
  • Public Sector procurement experience.
