  8. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
  9. Show initiative and leadership, driving process enhancements and implementing solutions.
  10. Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders, impacting organizational decision-making.
  11. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
  12. Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring financial records are accurate and complete.
  13. Develop, implement, and enhance recordkeeping and accounting systems using advanced technology solutions.
  14. Investigate discrepancies and address client inquiries promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

A proactive self-starter with a strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. Previous experience in a senior accounting role or a proven progression in responsibilities is essential.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Take charge of UK Accounts, ensuring compliance and accuracy standards are met.
  2. Engage regularly with store managers and team members across Sleep.8's London locations.
  3. Serve as the main point of contact for the CFO, Vice President, and Financial Director of Sleep.8, delivering valuable financial insights and support.

Location: Bristol, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Nottingham, Swansea / hybrid

Salary: Base salary up to £35,000, plus dividends tied to company performance.
