Job Title: Senior Commercial Finance Manager

Wincanton is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join our Group Transport sector. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide commercial leadership and financial expertise to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the commercial finance function for the Group Transport sector, providing financial guidance and support to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions and drive performance improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a commercial finance role, with a strong track record of driving business growth and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to travel across sites as required.
