About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Services Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ATA Recruitment. As a Site Services Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a range of equipment, including Boilers, Air Filtration Systems, PSSR Systems, FGAS, Refrigeration, and Air Compressors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out building maintenance, electrical installation, and plant services equipment repairs
  • Conduct routine plant services preventative maintenance, including refrigeration, legionella testing & air compressors
  • Carry out legislative testing and inspections
  • Supervise plant services installations
  • Ensure the close monitoring and control of contractors
  • Provide assistance to the maintenance team and emergency callout cover where required
  • Ensure all procedures and systems are kept up to date
  • Comply with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Environmental Legislation

Requirements

  • Engineering skills in electrical or multi-skilled electrical bias
  • Formal engineering qualification minimum NVQ level 3/C&G level 3
  • Able to fault find and problem solve both electrically and mechanically
  • Excellent understanding of site, buildings, and machinery compliance with health and safety requirements, including PUWER & COSHH
  • Knowledge of general building practices, working with water and electrical appliances, and experience of maintaining boilers
