Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Duty Leisure Management Team as a Leisure Operations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for delivering exceptional leisure services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct front of house leisure service staff to ensure excellent customer service and a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
  • Play a full part in wider management functions, including human resources management, budgetary control, health & safety management, and applications and sales and promotions.
  • Work closely with local partners and engage proactively with the local communities to promote our services and develop new opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including RLSS NPLQ and PPO Certificate requirements.
  • Develop and implement new programs and services to meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • RLSS NPLQ certification is essential, with a PPO Certificate also required.
  • A Scottish Swimming Teacher Qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
