About the Role
The County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our acute inpatient team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing dietetic care to patients on acute wards within our trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dietetic care to patients on acute wards, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nutrition care plans.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working in a hospital environment, preferably in an acute inpatient setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
