Academics Ltd Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will have the chance to gain invaluable experience in the Special Needs and Mental Health sector, working with a highly-regarded primary school and tuition centre in Swindon.

Job Description:

The SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, providing specialist support to a child with an educational, health, and care plan (EHCP). The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving the life of a young learner with special educational needs and have a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to the SEN child.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop strategies for the child's EHCP.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
  • Fully committed to the child on a long-term basis.
  • Ability to work closely with the class teacher and SENCO.

Salary: £80-£95 per day (full-time, 8:30am-3:30pm).
