We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team at Ask Recruiting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining domestic gas and renewable energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and replace domestic gas and heat pump systems to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot gas and renewable systems to achieve a first-time fix and extend the lifespan of the systems.
- Service gas and renewable systems to maintain their optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with customer regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain a strong work ethic, with a focus on self-motivation and time management to meet deadlines.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Hold relevant gas qualifications, including CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, HTR1, CENWAT, and ACS.
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in the domestic gas field, including 1st and 2nd fixing.
- Possess experience in installing and servicing Air Source heat pumps, although this is not essential.
- Be qualified to NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
