Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team at Ask Recruiting Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining domestic gas and renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and replace domestic gas and heat pump systems to the highest standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot gas and renewable systems to ensure efficient operation.
  • Service and maintain gas and renewable systems to extend their lifespan.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality and in line with customer regulations.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet workload deadlines.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Hold relevant Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, HTR1, CENWAT, ACS.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the domestic gas field, including 1st and 2nd fixing.
  • Experience with Air Source heat pumps is desirable but not essential.
  • Hold a NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a full and clean driving license.
  • Be IT competent and able to pass a DBS check.

Working Hours:

  • Day shift, Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime may be required.

Requirements:

  • Domestic gas experience: 5 years (required).
  • Heat pump experience: 2 years (desirable but not essential).

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (desirable).
  • Driving License (required).
  • City and Guilds (desirable).
