The RoleThis position involves working as part of a dedicated team to deliver practical and emotional care, enabling service users to achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for:
- Implementing individual support plans and activities in a challenging environment
- Maintaining effective communication with service users, families, and colleagues while upholding confidentiality
- Supporting daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and social events
- Accurately recording progress and observations as required
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide high-quality care
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
- Experience supporting adults with complex needs, including challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and mental health issues
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Confidence in working independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for supporting vulnerable adults and commitment to safeguarding best practices
