We are seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Consultant Physicians in Acute & General Medicine to join our existing team at University Hospital Wishaw.
The department has a dedicated medical ambulatory care area, alongside a medical assessment ward and medical high dependency unit. Our Acute Physicians work closely with specialty Physicians in the Physician of the Week model, ensuring excellent support from nursing and medical colleagues in the Emergency Department.
The successful applicants will participate in the acute rota, which is variable and flexible depending on the commitments of the team. They will also participate in the Physician of the Week/Day and weekend on-call rotas.
We welcome applications from individuals who are keen to contribute to the ongoing development of services. Sub-specialty clinical interests are welcome and will be supported.
