Horticultural Researcher Role
BBC Studios - Fact/Ents is seeking a Horticultural Researcher to provide specialist horticultural support for the UK's best-loved gardening programme, BBC Gardeners' World.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting independent research to support programme content
- Identifying suitable locations for filming
- Liaising with presenters and contributors to ensure accurate and engaging content
- Sourcing plants and props for filming
- Providing support for the editing process
- Ensuring factual accuracy in programme content
- Contributing ideas for future episodes
The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification and strong working knowledge of plants and the gardening calendar. Excellent communication and research skills are essential, as is the ability to work to deadlines and drive BBC-issued vehicles.
