About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Quality Systems to join our team at BAE Systems in Barrow-In-Furness. As a key member of our Quality Central Function Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a broad and detailed understanding of our business IT architecture, Quality Function systems, and technologies. They will be responsible for leading the cradle-to-grave process, managing project portfolios, and delivering high-quality solutions through strong leadership of available resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our business IT architecture, Quality Function systems, and technologies.
  • Lead the cradle-to-grave process from concept design to implementation of resource improvement projects.
  • Manage project development, launching, and implementation of maintenance and technology projects.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions through strong leadership of available resources.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent stakeholder management with complex problem-solving skills.
  2. Experience in developing business cases for winning purposes, including risk and contingency management.
Benefits:

Location:

This role is based in Barrow-In-Furness and may require occasional travel to other sites within the UK.
