Job Description

The Dalkia UK is looking for a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team at the Culham Science Centre in Abingdon. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a 37.5 hour contract covering Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage operations, from scheduling jobs to invoicing in a timely manner.
  • Assist in proactive planning of works to ensure completion within scheduled completion dates.
  • Provide monthly reporting on contracts.
  • Actively involved in purchasing parts and specialist resources.
  • Arrange access to buildings to aid job completion.
  • Request call-outs and arrange subcontractor attendance on project works.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships and contract records.
  • Allocate works to our engineering team.
  • Follow up on outdated works and works not completed with subcontractors.
  • Operate the Dalkia 'CPA' system to raise purchase orders, timesheet entries, and invoice queries in line with Dalkia policies.
  • Support the helpdesk when required.
  • Interact with engineers and subcontractors to deliver works successfully.

Requirements:

  • GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent.
  • An understanding of and experience with project works environment.
  • Understanding of key deliverables of a programme of works and experience in using applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.
  • CUSTOMER AWARENESS – responsive to the needs of the customer and aims to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptable and responsive and open to changing circumstances.
