About the Role

We are seeking a Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust. In this role, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, low mood, and behavioural difficulties.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will work under supervision, providing focused, outcome-informed interventions for children and young people in Stoke, the Staffordshire Moorlands, and North Staffordshire. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a developing service with high expectations for improving outcomes for children and families in the area.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Maths and English GCSE minimum grade 4 (or grade C) or equivalent
  • Ability to learn in a variety of settings and using a variety of learning methods
  • Knowledge of the educational system in England
