Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client, a leading hydraulic cylinder manufacturing company in Hereford. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and supporting the company's continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Lead the manufacturing team to achieve high-quality products and meet customer demands
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and reduce waste
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or operations management role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
