Finance Manager (Operations) Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager (Operations) to join our team on a 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with key stakeholders across the business, driving financial performance and contributing to operational success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team to ensure the accuracy of financial data during month-end reporting.
  • Drive efficient and accurate management and financial reporting, aligning with company standards.
  • Oversee transfer pricing and inventory accounting processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for multiple business entities.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of the balance sheet, identifying and resolving any inconsistencies.
  • Lead a small finance team of two staff members.
  • Manage various projects and handle additional tasks to improve business performance.
Requirements:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience in manufacturing or import/export sectors would be ideal.
  • Previous exposure to larger international organisations is highly beneficial.
  • Prior experience in managing a small team.
