Job Title: Civil and Structural Engineering Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineering Specialist to join our team at Nicholas Associates Graduate Placements. As a key member of our Structures design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering designs and drawings, specifications, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and deliver structural engineering designs and drawings, specifications, and reports to agreed timeframes and specifications.
* Liaise and communicate with the Structures design team, other disciplines, and external clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Check structural calculations and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
* Brief and supervise Technicians on the production of drawings, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Represent the Company at external meetings and in writing when required, and undertake site inspections to ensure project progress and quality.

Training & Development:

* You will be encouraged to work towards a Professional Qualification commensurate with your Academic Qualifications.
* You will be expected to attend in-house and external training courses, seminars, institution events, and generally comply with the 'Continuing Professional Development' to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
