Job Summary

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, your role will involve the production of structural calculations and drawings in accordance with British Standard design codes, Eurocodes, Building Regulations, and Network Rail standards, either by hand or using design software for clients, external professionals, and regulatory authorities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare structural engineering designs and drawings, specifications, reports, and general correspondence.
  • Liaise and communicate with external professionals.
  • Attend external meetings, representing CRS Professionals (UK) Ltd, and undertake site inspections as required.
  • Produce basic structural calculations and designs for basic structural members in steel, concrete, masonry, and/or timber.
  • Have a strong mathematical mindset and understanding of soil design, with knowledge of foundation design.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage your workload effectively and professionally.
