Senior Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with children with complex communication needs, including those with Sensorineural Hearing Loss.

This is a senior role that requires strong clinical leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple agencies. The postholder will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, developing and delivering specialist training, and contributing to the development of local policies and care pathways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex caseload of children with complex communication needs, including those with Sensorineural Hearing Loss.
  • Develop and deliver specialist training to other healthcare professionals and parents/carers.
  • Contribute to the development of local policies and care pathways.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Person Specification:

We are looking for a speech and language therapist with:

  • A recognised degree qualification or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Significant experience working with children with complex communication needs.
