Job Summary:

Tetra Tech is seeking a talented Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work on a wide range of projects, from defence to commercial and residential schemes, and have the opportunity to develop your skills in structural design and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver fully coordinated structural designs on various projects, working with senior colleagues and members of structures teams locally and nationally.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities, architects, design teams, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop skills in the use of the latest design software, such as Tekla Structural Designer and Revit.
  • Assist in design reviews and verification checks to ensure high-quality designs.
  • Undertake site visits and surveys to gather data and inform design decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng) with experience in structural design.
  • Previous technical or industry experience is advantageous.
  • Commitment to achieving chartered status with IStructE or ICE.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Suitability for Security Clearance to permit working on Defence Projects.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
