Assistant Window Fitter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Window Fitter to join our team at The People Pod. As an Assistant Window Fitter, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced window fitters in the installation and repair of windows and doors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the removal and installation of windows and doors using hand and power tools.
  • Take measurements for new fittings and make any bespoke changes.
  • Fix windows, doors, and other products.
  • Clear away materials left after the job is finished.
  • Repair and replace products as requested by customers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development.
Requirements:
  • Experience in fitting windows, doors, and conservatories in UPVC or general building work.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative when assisting with windows and doors on site.
  • Health and Safety conscious.
  • Driving license essential.
