Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a passionate Culinary Specialist to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our talented culinary teams to prepare and serve delicious meals to pupils and students in primary and secondary schools, academies, independent schools, colleges, and universities across the UK.
Responsibilities:- Prepare high-quality food that meets the dietary needs and preferences of our customers.
- Work collaboratively with our culinary teams to ensure that all meals are prepared and served to a high standard.
- Seek opportunities to improve our menus and food services, ensuring that we remain a market leader in the education sector.
- Maintain a positive brand image through excellent customer service and a commitment to upholding our company values.
- Record and reduce food waste levels, ensuring that we minimize our environmental impact.
- Support with all kitchen organisation, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities, ensuring that our kitchens are safe and efficient environments for our staff and customers.
Requirements:
- Passion for world-class food and customer service.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Good understanding of Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
- Flexible approach to working, including willingness to work varied hours and days.
