Supporting Students: We have a unique opportunity for a psychology graduate to join our team as a teaching assistant in an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Chorlton-cum-Hardy.

This role offers a chance to apply your knowledge of psychology in a supportive and inclusive environment, developing your skills and making a meaningful difference in students' lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing individual and group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers to deliver lessons and provide additional support to students.
  • Fostering positive relationships with students, promoting a growth mindset and encouraging resilience.
  • Working with teachers and SEN staff to monitor student progress and tailor support strategies.
  • Modeling positive behavior and helping students overcome obstacles to learning.
Requirements:
  • Degree in psychology or a closely related field.
  • Strong commitment to education and supporting young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in a dynamic school environment.
  • Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is beneficial.
Compensation:
  • Competitive weekly pay rate: £425-£520.
  • Full-time, term-time only contract until the end of the academic year.
