We are seeking a skilled Career Guidance Specialist to join our Education Development Trust team in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced L6 (CIAG) Qualified Careers Advisers to provide careers advice, guidance, and support to young people at school or college.

About the Role

This role involves providing tailored careers information, advice, and guidance to meet the needs of young people and supporting schools in achieving the Gatsby benchmarks. You will deliver careers advice and guidance in one-to-one settings or group workshops/assemblies to help students with their career aspirations.

As a Career Guidance Specialist, you will engage with and inspire young people with SEND and disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as their parents/carers. You must demonstrate a professional commitment to children's rights, equal opportunities, and diversity.

You will also be responsible for undertaking administration duties to ensure that all delivery evidence is complete and compliant with contract and quality standards. Experience working with vulnerable groups and those with special education needs and disabilities (SEND) is essential.
