Job Title: Accounts Receivable/AP/Collections Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable/AP/Collections Specialist to join our team at Shred-Tech. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing our accounts receivable and collections processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment from our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including invoicing, payments, and credit status.
- Coordinate with sales and service departments to resolve any issues related to customer accounts.
- Process and manage intercompany transactions between Shred-Tech companies.
- Prepare and mail A/R statements to customers.
- Run A/R month-end reports for review by Controller and CFO.
- Update credit status for overdue customers.
- Prepare and mail customer hold reports to Controller and CFO.
- Update account reports for weekly and monthly reporting.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable & Collections.
- Experience working with ERP systems is an asset.
