We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our BIM Team Leader with BIM coordination and the delivery of BIM models for complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage all BIM requirements in projects
- Delegate tasks to BIM Technicians
- Liaise and collaborate with clients and external stakeholders
- Create internal clash reports
- Attend BIM coordination meetings
- Set up models
- Ensure links in models are updated weekly
- Perform CAD checks
- Export and upload models to CDE
- Work closely with technicians
- Support and guide BIM Technicians about project specifics
- Disseminate information from BIM execution plans
- Previous BIM coordination experience
- Computer literate and proficient in all core Microsoft Office packages
- Prior experience working with 2D & 3D software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- To be honest, trustworthy, and to maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties relating to finance and tenders
- Ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and outside bodies
- Ability to work using your own initiative
- Previous experience within a related field is desirable
- Previous experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit is desirable
- Experience using AutoDesk Construction Cloud is desirable
- Experience using Revit MEP is desirable
- Recognised BIM qualification is desirable
