We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Tier 4 CAMHS service. This is a permanent post of 33 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of paediatric clinical experience and an understanding of the relationship between speech, language, and communication differences and mental health.
You will be working in our adolescent psychiatry inpatient unit, within a multi-disciplinary framework with professionals from various disciplines, alongside multi-agency working. A key component of the role is to facilitate access to mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for young people impacted by speech, language, or communication differences.
You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team, with clinical supervision, caseload/workload management, and mentoring integral to our team. Your professional development is important to us, and opportunities will be available to develop your knowledge, skills, and experience, including full induction and shadowing opportunities.
It is essential that you have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and current HCPC registration.
