About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. As a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the MOT testing, service, repair, and maintenance of motor vehicles, ensuring they are road-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types.
  • Repair vehicles, test vehicles, and diagnose faults.
  • Replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables while maintaining records and providing quality write-ups for the customer and manufacturer.
  • Advise and report on vehicle faults, servicing requirements, and future servicing/repair requirements.
  • Work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, utilizing your technical skills to overcome any challenges that arise.

About You:

  • We consider candidates from all backgrounds with experience working in the Automotive sector in a technical role.
  • You will be qualified to Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and hold an MOT Testers Licence.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure, utilizing your technical ability to overcome any challenges.
  • An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
