Job Summary:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £24,336.00 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting the growth and development of our team members.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards are adhered to for all food storage and preparation.
• Instruct and oversee the daily workload of prisoners, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
• Maintain liaison with all other departments within the establishment, fostering effective communication and relationships.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all food legislation and portion control is adhered to, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management to support the development and success of the establishment.

Requirements:

• Up-to-date knowledge of Food Safety Standards and relevant certifications.
• Experience in bulk catering or catering for large numbers, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer service.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, prisoners, and visitors.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of all stakeholders.
