Digital Content Curator

The Cambridge University Libraries are seeking a skilled Digital Archivist to support the completion of their Digital Preservation Programme. The role involves developing processes, training staff, and advising on digital curation.
Key Tasks
- Develop and improve digital preservation processes and workflows
- Appraise, acquire, and catalogue born-digital archives
- Collaborate with Archives and Modern Manuscripts and Digital Preservation teams to achieve programme goals
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing digital archives
- Basic knowledge of IT systems, including computer programming, storage infrastructure, and information security
- Familiarity with archival and digital preservation principles and standards
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
A degree in Archive Administration or Library and Information Studies is highly valued.
