About the Role
We are seeking a skilled LGV Driver C+E (Low Loader) to join our Tarmac Pave Team in Birtley, Tyne and Wear. This role involves transporting mobile plant from site to site for the North East Pave Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport mobile plant safely and efficiently
- Load and unload plant and equipment
- Ensure journeys are planned to meet site requirements
- Liaise with Plant Coordinator and Gang Foreman
- Work safely and in accordance with driving regulations
Requirements
- LGV (HGV) Class 1 licence
- Valid Digital Tacho Card
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Previous experience of loading/unloading mobile plant (desirable)
- Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures
