We are seeking an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join our thriving school community in Islington, North London. Job Responsibilities

As a Year 6 teacher, your primary focus will be on:

  • Providing pastoral care to children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and creating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging strengths, and improving weaknesses.
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and reporting back to parents as needed.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, health insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
