About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Editor to join our team at Russell Publishing. As a Digital Projects Editor, you will be responsible for commissioning and curating high-quality content across multiple media platforms, including print, digital, and live events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Head of Content to develop and drive the content strategy for one of our science brands, aligning with Russell Publishing's overall strategy.
  • Deliver content for the brand across all channels, targeting the appropriate audience, including website, email, print, video, podcast, and webinar.
  • Research and write, or commission authors/industry experts to produce articles and features for the title via interviews, telephone, and email, to grow and develop the brand.
  • Identify and attend relevant industry events/exhibitions and meetings in the UK and worldwide.
  • Identify future markets and new products with editorial and commercial potential.
Requirements
  • At least 3-4 years' experience in a B2B multimedia content environment with evidence of commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical, drug discovery, life science, or similar industries is advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of WordPress and multimedia editing skills.
  • Strong planning, project management, organization, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail, flexible, and the ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
